Lululemon does not have a published price adjustment policy, but we’ve had
great success getting price adjustments for our customers nevertheless. Overall, we’ve found Lululemon to be cooperative in issuing price
adjustments, if they are requested within a reasonable time of purchase.
For online purchases, we’ve had success getting refunds within 30 days from the
date of purchase. For in-store purchases, the timeframe for requesting an adjustment is substantially shorter – no more than seven days. These
deadlines have been extended in the past, particularly around the holidays, but it’s always up to the educator to decide whether to accept a
late claim.
Only new products purchased directly from Lululemon are eligible for price
adjustments. It’s best to show that the exact same product, including size and color, is still available online at the lower price when you
request the adjustment. “We Made Too Much” items are generally not eligible for price adjustments because they are considered final sale.
However, in some cases, we’ve been able to receive a gift card for these items. Sale items are not eligible for price adjustments. Only one
adjustment is permitted per item.
For online purchases, it’s best to contact Lululemon’s Guest Experience Centre (GEC)
to request a price adjustment. The refund will be issued to the original payment method, if that information is available. Otherwise, the refund
will be issued as a gift card.
For in-store purchases, we recommend taking your item (ideally with the tags
still attached) and your receipt to the store to request an adjustment. We’ve had success requesting adjustments for in-store purchases by
contacting the GEC, but in those situations the refund was always issued as a gift card because it seems that GEC doesn’t have access to payment
method information for purchases that were made in-store.
Regardless of how you go about requesting your refund, have your order number or
receipt available. Remember to be polite to the educator because he or she will ultimately decide whether to issue your refund.
Requesting price adjustments is time-consuming. You have to constantly be on
the lookout for price drops for everything you purchase, figure out if you’re eligible for a refund, and apply for that refund. All of that
takes time and a fair bit of organization. We can help you get more of your money back by:
- Tracking your purchases
- Monitoring for price changes
- Notifying you whenever you’re eligible for a refund
- Claiming the refund on your behalf (or providing you with instructions for making a claim yourself)
All you need to do is email us the receipt for anything that you want us to track
for you. We’ll handle everything else for you automatically. Check out our plan options to get started.
