Levi’s has a published price adjustment policy, but it’s a bit complicated.
We’ll cover the highlights in this article.
Levi’s offer price adjustments on full-priced items purchased online or
in-stores, if the price of the item is marked down within 14 days of purchase. However, there are some important exclusions to keep in
mind, which we’ll cover below.
Only new products purchased at full price directly from levis.com or in Levi’s
stores are eligible for price adjustments. However, a price adjustment applies on a per-order basis, meaning that if you buy multiple items at
the same time and more than one of them goes on sale, you will only get a price adjustment on one of those items. You can only receive one price
adjustment per order, even if another item goes on sale later.
Also, items that are purchased before a sale started, such as Black Friday, Cyber
Monday, and Warehouse sales, and subsequently go on sale are not eligible for a price adjustment. This limitation is a bit squishy because it
doesn’t clearly explain what counts as a “sale” or how close to the sale the purchase must take place (though obviously less than 14 days). Final
sale items and “special promotions” (again, not clear what that means) are also excluded.
That said, we’ve had success claiming price adjustment refunds for customers in
several situations that could have been arguably barred by the policy.
For online purchases, you’ll need to contact Levi’s support to request a price
adjustment. Be ready to provide your order number, and make sure that the exact item you purchased is still available online. The refund will be
issued to the original payment method.
For in-store purchases, you’ll need to take the item to a Levi’s store (ideally
with the tags still attached) and your receipt to the store to request an adjustment. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Regardless of how you go about requesting your refund, have your order number
or receipt available. Remember to be polite to the customer service representative because the decision to issue the refund is ultimately a
subjective one, if you’re within the 14-day adjustment period, that is.
Requesting price adjustments is time-consuming. You have to constantly be on
the lookout for price drops for everything you purchase, figure out if you’re eligible for a refund, and apply for that refund. All of that
takes time and a fair bit of organization. We can help you get more of your money back by:
- Tracking your purchases
- Monitoring for price changes
- Notifying you whenever you’re eligible for a refund
- Claiming the refund on your behalf (or providing you with instructions for making a claim yourself)
All you need to do is email us the receipt for anything that you want us to track
for you. We’ll handle everything else for you automatically. Check out our plan options to get started.
