Bloomingdale’s has a generous price adjustment policy. If you shop at
Bloomingdale’s, this article will explain when you’re eligible for a refund and how to request one.
For online purchases, you may request a price adjustment within 10 days of the
shipping date. For in-store purchases, you may request a price adjustment within 10 days of the purchase date. There is no requirement that the
exact same item be in stock, or that the original purchase at full price. That’s unusual, and quite generous, in our experience.
Purchases made from third-party sellers are not eligible for a price adjustment.
In other words, your purchase must be made directly from Bloomingdale’s.
To request a price adjustment for an online purchase, you’ll need to contact
Bloomingdale’s support by email. Have your order number ready. To request a price adjustment for an in-store purchase, you’ll need to go to the store.
In that case, bring your original receipt and item. While Bloomingdale’s is known for its excellent customer service, it’s always a good idea to be
polite to the associate when you request a price adjustment.
Requesting price adjustments is time-consuming. You have to constantly be on
the lookout for price drops for everything you purchase, figure out if you’re eligible for a refund, and apply for that refund. All of that
takes time and a fair bit of organization. We can help you get more of your money back by:
- Tracking your purchases
- Monitoring for price changes
- Notifying you whenever you’re eligible for a refund
- Claiming the refund on your behalf (or providing you with instructions for making a claim yourself)
All you need to do is email us the receipt for anything that you want us to track
for you. We’ll handle everything else for you automatically. Check out our plan options to get started.
