Yes, J.Crew offers customers price adjustments. This article will explain
when you’re eligible for a refund and how to request one.
J.Crew’s policy is somewhat limited relative to other policies that we’ve reviewed,
especially those offered by other apparel brands. Price adjustments are only available for items that were purchased at full price, and only within
seven days of the purchase date, if purchased in-store, or of the ship date, if purchased online. Items that were purchased using discount or promo
codes are ineligible. It’s unclear if that restriction applies to discount or promo codes that only apply to shipping, so it’s worth checking
with J.Crew (or having us do that for you).
Price adjustments for in-store purchases can be requested at the store, provided
that you have the original receipt. You’ll need to contact support to request a price adjustment for items you purchased online. It’s unclear
whether you can request a price adjustment for in-store purchases by contacting online support, but again, it’s worth reaching out (or having us do
it for you).
Requesting price adjustments is time-consuming. You have to constantly be on
the lookout for price drops for everything you purchase, figure out if you’re eligible for a refund, and apply for that refund. All of that
takes time and a fair bit of organization. We can help you get more of your money back by:
- Tracking your purchases
- Monitoring for price changes
- Notifying you whenever you’re eligible for a refund
- Claiming the refund on your behalf (or providing you with instructions for making a claim yourself)
All you need to do is email us the receipt for anything that you want us to track
for you. We’ll handle everything else for you automatically. Check out our subscription options to get started.
